A entrevista com Altamiro Carrilho (foto) constituiu um capítulo a parte no processo de gravação do curta-metragem. Após iniciarmos inúmeros contatos percebemos que a finalização do DVD a “A Fala da Flauta” sobrecarregava a agenda de Carrilho (http://www.altamirocarrilho.com.br/). Uma nova tentativa caiu por terra quando o músico cancelou uma apresentação na Sala Baden Powell em Copacabana. Felizmente restabelecido de seu problema de saúde e graças à apuração de Teresa, agendamos em 9 de abril de 2007 em um estúdio na entrada de nosso antigo endereço no Humaitá. A lenda viva da flauta brasileira estava radiante ao falar de sua primeira referência musical e ainda rememorou sua participação na tournée artística de Elizeth Cardoso (1920-1990) no Japão. Ao final da entrevista todos saborearam um pequeno lanche. Elba presenteou Altamiro Carrilho com uma foto de Patápio Silva e eles compartilharam comigo, Teresa Fazolo e Cristiano algumas fotos.
