In 2009 the project was almost paralyzed. The team's short film was disjointed and had few contacts with each other. All my concentration was focused on a doctorate at UFRJ. The task accomplished only refers to the selection of songs for the soundtrack of the short film. In this quest, three songs Patápio stood out: First Love, Flute Variations and Margaret. You can hear the original recordings of Patápio in consultation with the Moreira Salles Institute website Search in the archives section (http://ims.uol.com.br/) or remakes of FUNARTE (1983) with Altamiro Luizinho Carrilho and Eca (http://www.funarte.gov.br/brasilmemoriadasartes/?s=patapio+silva). In this period of musical research was a curious fact. On 17 November I attended the premiere of the documentary Citizen Boilesen Unibanco Artplex in Botafogo (photo). The film premiered at International Documentary Film Festival's All True was the result of fifteen years of research on the role of the Danish-born businessman in Brazil during the military dictatorship. In the discussion after the screening, director Chaim Litewski shared with the audience a very useful statement to that moment, there are certain documentaries whose preparation process may take a lifetime. It would be like if Patápio?
