A viagem para Itaocara, noroeste fluminense, ocorreu em fevereiro de 2007. Junto à Teresa Fazolo e Alba Ferreira pretendíamos registrar algumas imagens da cidade natal de Patápio e conversar com alguns moradores. O município fundado em 1809 possui cerca de vinte mil habitantes e o nome indígena significa aldeia de pedra. Sua base econômica é a pecuária leiteira, a pesca, a indústria de aguardente e toda cidade possui muitas esculturas espalhadas a céu aberto. Uma parte dos trabalhos foi criada pelo artista visual Henrique Resende (foto) que também integra a comissão de cultura da prefeitura local. Com este apoio institucional recebido para transporte, hospedagem e alimentação, as gravações transcorreram sem maiores imprevistos no centro e na zona rural da cidade. Segundo informações de moradores da cidade, o paradeiro dos familiares de Patápio é desconhecido. Em complemento, Sylvio Bairral, remanescente da primeira composição da Sociedade Musical Patápio Silva ofertou um importante depoimento para o curta-metragem. Além disso, no atelier de Henrique, todos os integrantes da equipe acompanharam uma parte do processo de confecção da escultura que homenagearia poucos meses depois o mais ilustre músico da cidade.
