RICARDO CRAVO ALBIN

Em paralelo ao trabalho da pesquisa documental e iconográfica de Alba Ferreira, a primeira filmagem do documentário foi realizada no Instituto Cultural Cravo Albin em 26 de outubro de 2006 (http://institutocravoalbin.com.br/). Para o musicólogo Ricardo Albin (foto), na genealogia da flauta brasileira, Patápio Silva está situado entre duas lendas de igual porte musical: Joaquim Calado (1848 – 1880) e Alfredo da Rocha Viana Filho, o Pixinguinha (1897 – 1973). Na ocasião, Albin mencionou o desejo de receber uma cópia do filme editado para inclusão no acervo do Instituto.  

In parallel to the work of documentary research and iconographic Ferreira de Alba, the first filming of the documentary was held at the Cravo Albin Cultural Institute on October 26, 2006 (http://institutocravoalbin.com.br/). For the musicologist Richard Albin (photo), the genealogy of the Brazilian flute, Patápio Silva is situated between two musical legends of equal size: Joaquim Calado (1848-1880) and Alfredo da Rocha Viana Filho, the Pixies (1897 - 1973). At the time, Albin mentioned the desire to receive a copy of the film edited for inclusion in the collection of the Institute.
